Chlorine for well

I fill my chlorine tank for my chlorinator de-chlorinator system appx every 2 months. For the last 25 years or so I have used 1 Gal clorox regular 6% with 14 Gals of distilled water. I picked up 2 Gals of clorox reg yesterday & filled my tank with 14 gallons distilled water & 1 Gal of clorox. I immediately noticed the solution in the tank was slightly cloudy which it has never been before. Looking at the bottle of clorox I noticed that it had an additional new marking on the bottle which states "now with cloromax technology". Researching online I found that the cloromax technology is they have added polymers to help stop stains from adhering to fibers. In the past I had found that Clorox regular & germicidal was the only ones which were nsf approved.
Now that they have added these polymers I don't belive thats possible. Am now on a quest to find a clorine or bleach that is NSF / ANSI approved preferably between 6-8.25%.I have checked our localpool supply (pinch a penny) & they do have clorine in gallon sized bottles but they Know nothing about ANSI or NSF approved clorine & the clorine they have they pour into their own bottles / labels with an EPA sticker they manufacture and apply themselves. Their clorine arrives by truck & pumped into a large holding tank outback of the store & they have no knowledge of the manufacture or Co. delivering it or dont want to give out that info. Their clorine is 12% when delieverd but is listed on their bottle as 10.5 %. . What clorine / bleach do you all recomend ?

I get my bleach at Aldi. 8.25% 121 oz currently. I top up with soft water, although for the first 4 years I topped up with hard water. I accumulated a white sediment at the bottom. My bleach is only used for the regen of my iron filter every 3 days; it gets rinsed out before the filter goes back into service. I put in bleach every 33 days, so if there was ever a change in the draw rate, I would notice.

I too had the same problem many years ago with using hard well water to top off solution tank & having white sediment & iron build up bottom of tank. Started using purified water or distilled whichever cheaper & didn't have the problem anymore. About the polymer clorox is adding to their bleach I have read on pool sites where Team clorox response has been posted it says not recomended for treatment of pool water. I have done some research on the polymer & found that it is used widely as an absorbent in diapers as well as other sanitary products. It can absorb 40-50 times it's weight in water. Thats probably why I got a slight cloudy appearence when I mixed the clorox with water in my solution tank. I sent Clorox an email this morning trying to find out if I can still find regular clorox without cloromax. but don't expect a response till maybe tomorrow. Did find a clorine company that has gallon jugs of nsf / ansi 60 certified clorine 10 % strength for $ 1.55 a gallon but their in Buford Georgia appx 6 hours from here. I checked with our local well Co here about clorine & was told they all use a clorine for pools they purchase from home depot that has a 5.25 % soulition strength but is not ansi or nsf approved & they are unaware of any that is.
Reach 4 when your system is backwashing does it clorinate for only the last 4 minutes of backwashing ?

Consider hydrogen peroxide instead of bleach. It is harder to test for residual, but the byproduct is O2. Alternatively, consider Aldi bleach and look for cloudiness, unless the NSF thing is that important to you.

It draws for the 4 minutes of the BD cycle. That gets followed by a 5 minute rapid rinse.
