Charlie gets a colonoscopy on Two and a Half men. Okay, maybe it's his brother.
It's something that all men should get at fifty.
Is Charlie already 50?

Which of the men here over fifty have had theirs?

Video here

In case you're wondering why I'm posting this, I waited until I was 57 before I did one.
I chose the Chemo, Radiation and major surgery option.
Surgery will be on the 4th.

I have had three. Love the stuff they use to put you out. Feels like you slept for a week.

Mine is coming soon...
I'm not thrilled by it but I think it better than the other option...

I'll pass an a bit of advice I figured out on the prostrate check though...
A young cute female doctor made that go easier...

Just went in for a followup colonoscopy. It's weird how they tell you they are going to do it, and then they tell you it's time to leave.
What???????
It's a good thing they take pictures or how would I know it was even done?
They did remove a polyp this time. 7mm to 7 mm. No signs of cancer. Yeah!
I'm on a three year schedule now.

At least the prep is easier than 15 years ago. The prep is the worst part.

Death would be more merciful. Had one when I turned 50. I was due for one when I turned 60 but my doc saved me the horror with Cologuard. As long as that comes back negative you're golden and don't need the scope. Pooping in a cup isn't terribly pleasant but a heck of a lot better than the alternative.

When I was in the Navy I was a teenager and the medical officer said I was ok and did not need to be tested.

I said thanks doctor as I was up all night like a virgin on her wedding night thinking about it . He could not stop laughing

Terrible medicine to be taken for sure
