When I pull my light switch the light comes on maybe 50 times in a row but then the light flicks and all power to fan and light are gone. If I tap on the housing the light may turn on and fan starts back up. If I disconnect the light the fan switch never has any killing effect. I replaced the light fixture components and worked great for maybe 1 week and started back killing power to unit. Could this be the 2 wire capacitor not have enough pwr when both are connected. Replaced 4 wire cap last yr thinking it was problem. Problem for past couple yrs. Light is wired correctly. Thanks for any help.

Well its not likely the venting causing the clog.

What venting.
May have gotten it fixed, seems it may have been the multi plug making bad contact with red wire, anyways tighten up all connections and not one problem yet, got fingers crossed.
