New member here with a question on dealing with H2S in well water.

I moved into a new house on a well that tests at 1 PPM H2S. I have a 20" Big Blue with a GAC filter that handles it for around 45-60 days before it needs changing but would like to move to a longer term solution. From my research I'm leaning toward either an AIO or a backwashing catalytic carbon filtration system. I've read here that an AIO can cause cloudy water due to oxygenation and my wife would prefer to stay away from that due to guests. What kind of performance and longevity could I expect from something along the lines of a 2 cu ft catalytic carbon system? Any ideas how long it would last before the carbon needs changing out?

We're a family of 6 and tend to use around 175-200 gallons per day.

And by the way, thanks for the forum. Lots of great information here that has helped inform me on the different aspects of water quality.
