I would get a drain cleaning specialist to have a go at it.

Looks like there are two cleanouts readily accessible. I would try to use those before I replaced the pipe.

Is that a piece of galvanized under that expansion plug?

If you do cut things out, the first step is to take the weight off. A riser clamp along with other materials would help with that.

The clog may be where the pipe transitions from vertical to horizontal in the basement floor. So that needs cleaning out anyway.

Step by Step might require writing a book. it would also require you to write a lot and post several more photos including a begining and end in the piping youd like to replace and which pipe

you just need to call someone who cleans drain lines and have the line roro rootered from teh kitchen above all the way down and across the basement floor to the main drain--its gonna cost you about 200 to do this...

If there is a hair line crack in the verticle cast iron stack then you got some fun on your hands...
you will need a diablo sawzall blade to cut the cast with.... then you need some assorted fittings and 2, 2 inch no hub clamps for the top and bottom....

remember to support the overhead stack with some hanger wire to the studs so when you cut it out you dont get this falling into your lap... gravity sucks...
