Hello- I want to cap off one of the lines that is coming out of my gas manifold. I believe I would just do the following but want to double check the below steps. Also what type of cap can I use for the iron pipe? Do I use a malleable iron pipe plug? Any type of pipe dope?

- Shut gas off at meter
- unscrew brass fitting connected to CSST line
- Cap off iron pipe tee.
- turn on gas at meter
- check for leaks
