I am so frustrated. The tub is draining a bit slow, so I decided to remove the stopper and I thought it would be very easy. Turns out, not so easy.
-No set screw.
-I have tried (as the thread from Gerard in 2008 indicated) to turn the stopper by turning when there is tension, but it is not coming off.
-It looked like the stopper was turnable via a screwdriver into the top, but no joy.
-I put needle-nose pliers on the brass section and it turned, but it never loosened that I could turn it by hand, so I stopped.
Not sure what brand of stopper/drain, but the home was built by Lennar in 2013 (if that matters). Any ideas and thanks in advance.
