Cannot cut a hole add it's reinforced underneath with the plastic ribs. I mean I could but it would render the air tight fit bad as the grommet would then not fit.
I've tried every way. Also nowhere seems to sell just a piggy back plug.

Anyway I can connect up in a junction box

I would wedge it in like your last picture and try to force it through. Hit it with a hammer and see what happens. If that doesn't work you could whittle some of the plastic away but try to leave the top side undamaged. You could cut the cord near the piggy back plug or just so the splice is not in the basin and put it back together. There should be three colored wires in there.
