Hi,

The local store ran out of brass connections, can I use a copper 3/4 mntp into the brass 3/4 female on the ibox?

Thank you

Certainly, if you solder in the piece of copper pipe first, then make up the connection with the usual pipe dope and/or teflon tape. And if 1/2" copper is a sufficiently large supply, depending on what outlet you have on the iBox.

Ok great

Off to the garage to solder and then attach to the box

Our only concern was getting the turns right and not over tightening to make it fit back correctly with the pipes pointing down to attach.
