Can I pair a 1/2" shower valve and a 3/4" diverter?

Hello, In my bathroom remodel the shower line is copper 1/2". I need to end with a shower head, tub spout and hand shower that can work independently. Bought a 1/2" main valve from Signature Hardware and a Signature Hardware diverter which turned out to be 3/4". SH does not make the diverter in 1/2". Can the 2 be paired and would it deliver the right water pressure? Thank you.

If 1/2 inch works then yes using a bigger 3/4 will work too. you determined 1/2 inch was good enough so yea its fine you did say independantly so yea any of those can run on 1/2
