Soo I wasn t thinking right when I was running my vent for my bathroom, the old vent the 4 way tee was upside down but it was more of a sweeping 4 way, but I was wondering if this still works thus way or do I need to flip the 4 way upside down?

Not legal, but it will work. The two rubber couplings concern me more, they should be shielded couplings. The type you have can shift out of alignment under stress and are not legal for your application.

+1 on the couplings.

As to the tee, I'm having some trouble understanding the problem. I can't find any section of the plumbing code that calls for the tee to be upside down. And if the system is filled with water (say for testing), the arrangement shown will fully drain without trapping any water.

Cheers, Wayne
