I have a well maintained but old (25 years) Burnham series 2 (208) LP boiler. I recently replaced the gas valve and have experienced foghorning during initial call for heat. I tested pressures fore and aft and all are at 10. I had the gas company measure primary and secondary valve pressures outside and all are normal. The foghorning seems to go away on the third or fourth call but comes back latter. I cleaned the boiler flue bafffles, checked the chimney all is ok. Is it possible that the valve is bad or weird? The valve model number is vr8304p4314, which is an LP type although the original had a conversion kit. Any ideas???
