Hello Guys.
Need some advise.
Outside of my house i have a sewer eject pump pit and it overflows i have open the cover and noticed that pump is not working, and it constantly trips the circuit breaker. What can be an issue?
I am attaching a link to my youtube video about it.
The pump model is Myers SG11200
They have been discontinued so i do not know if parts can be ordered for it.
Thank you.
P.S. Also what would be an estimate to replace the unit? Labor and cost.

you are probably going to have to get a new one unless someone
threw baby wipes or something else down the drain that would jam
this thing up... there should be a ball valve in the line somewhere to shut
off the line before you disconnect that fernco fitting.....

I have ordered a new pump.
I have some local plumber company came out and they quote me 2,400 for labor to replace the pump, keeping in mind i provide the pump.
It seems way over expensive for a pump replacement.
Can someone suggest a reasonable rate to do the job?
Thank you.

I would call somebody else. Get several estimates. Call a local company that does not have multiple offices all over the country.
