Hi,
in removing a decomposed 3" flapper, I accidentally cracked off one of the flush valve's ear onto which the flapper attaches (is there a better name than ear?)

Is there any way to repair this without removing and replacing the entire flush valve?
Thanks!
Elly

I think you're looking at a new flush valve.
There are also replacement 3" flush valves in hardware stores that will work with that.

Thanks, I was afraid of that.
Any replacement brands that are recommended? or specifically NOT recommended?
