Hello. I am looking to install a bridge valve under my master bathroom sink (farthest fixture from water heater) to utilize the internal recirc pump on my tankless water heater and provide instantaneous HW to my fixtures. My plumbing installation off the water heater has a main HW supply and a thermostatic mixing valve, which supplies how water to the master bath showers only. The rest of my fixtures (bathroom sinks, kitchen sink, other shower) are supplied off of the main hot water line, not the TMV, so there are essentially (2) HW supplies in my home. My question is, will the bridge valve on the bathroom sink which is being supplied by the main HW line have any effect on the hot water supply to the shower coming from the TMV? Will the bridge valve only provide instantaneous hot water to the fixtures on the same HW line, and the shower being served by the TMV supply will see no change? I'd like the shower to also have instantaneous HW as a priority, so I'm wondering if the bridge valve is even worth the effort if it will only serve the other fixtures and not the shower being served by the TMV. Installing a bridge on my shower water connections is not possible as there is no access. I checked the specifications and install manual for my tankless heater (Nevian NPE-A2) and I can use the internal pump for external recirc.
