Borg-Warner toilet questions

We have a Borg-Warner toilet that is leaking - water is slowing going from the flush tank into the bowl (and then down the drain.) The toilet is a "low boy", a one piece with the tank only a couple of inches above the bowl. It was probably installed in the early to mid 60's.

We have replaced the flap and cleaned the pipe where it sits but the toilet still is leaking water - I can hear it when I go to the basement and listen.

What should we do? And we cannot seem to locate Borg-Warner parts in our area - Bethalto, Illinois which is near Alton.

Flapper

If you used a universal flapper, sometimes they will not always work. I would try to find a correct flapper and go from there. Here is a link that might help as well.
