I have a backflow valve on my 2 and 1/2 year old boiler that began leaking. I found out on this site that the valve needs to be piped to the floor. My question is does the valve just need to be piped to the floor even though it is still installed over the electrical box or should the valve be installed away from the electrical connector first and then piped to the floor. I live in Massachusetts. I have posted a couple of pictures.
