Because our Kohler toilet clogged several times, we had a plummer put a camera through the pipes to see what the problem was. Turns out the problem is not the toilet, but the pipes. They runs 17 feet horizontally before taking 2 sharp 90 degree turns before going downwards. The horizontal pipe drop is very gradual and barely to code. Our plummer cut out one spot that was flat but he feels we may still have problems in the future and has recommended a pressure assisted toilet. I have read several of the threads here and see that the Toto Ultramax is highly recommended over pressure assit toilets, but I'm not sure that will solve our problem. Does anyone have a suggestion on a toilet that will force water and materials through our 17 foot maze of pipes.

Where was the clog occurring, and how did you clear the line. I doubt that the 'flat" line is the problem, and once the material leaves the toilet and is in the pipe for a couple of feet, they are all the same.
