Hello again,

I am told that I can have a 90º bend in a trap arm. Does the 4x3 closet elbow already count as 90º?

I would like to put a 22.5º horizontal bend in my 5.5' toilet trap arm to line things up. It will vent via a 3x2 wye laying on its back. This is in a crawlspace but there isn't much vertical clearance so it is being run as if it were under a slab (no vertical pipes to change angles with).

Will this count as a 22.5º trap arm bend or does it add up to a 112.5º bend because it already has an elbow?

Thank you!

The trap of a toilet is in the toilet. You have no trap arm as such. You don't need to provide any horizontal if you don't want.
