Hi all,

New guy here. I’m currently remodeling a first floor bathroom. I need to vent the new bathroom fan, but it appears my options are somewhat limited.

I cannot vent directly out the side of the property. The circled window in question, and area directly above the window, encompass the area where the vent hood would need to be located.

From my limited research, I know soffit vents are not ideal. Would it be better to vent out this small section of roof?

I’ve also included an internal photo of where the vent will daylight to the exterior.

Thanks in advance!
Joe
