This sink has always drained slow even with new under sink trap etc.
Slow and acts like it has a venting problem.
Is there something wrong with this plumbing?

Yes, there is something wrong with the plumbing, and there is a venting problem. However a venting problem by itself will not cause slow drainage.

Is the big pipe from above just a vent, or is it carrying drainage from a higher floor. Either way, since you have that wall open, there will be a fairly easy fix. If you are so inclined, you could still make it hard by telling us that you will be using a pedestal sink or an Ikea, or a floating sink, or a vessel sink on a floating counter, and you want the trap hidden.

definately a poor plumbing job!
The trap arm must not offset verticaly or as yours is its not properly vented of cource assuming the 3inch above is vent only.
Dran stoppage I see no reason for that . should be easy to clear
