Hi I have a sink which i have snaked, removed the trap and cleaned out, but when you turn on the tap it fills about to 1/4 to 1/2 before it starts to drain. What could be the issue? Thanks in advance. Nav

Check the pop-up for a hair mass in the tailpiece.
The drain piping probably needs to be cleaned for a longer distance.

I've run into a lot of pop-ups that just didn't open all that much. The higher water level would give it more push, but I really feel like there's an engineering problem there.

By chance does your drain look like this? If so that's normal. There is a way to get around it. That is to drill the holes slightly bigger
