Hello
I am remodeling a bathroom in my house. The bathroom had a tub and separate shower separated by a false wall. They will be replaced with a steam shower. Inside the wall are water lines and vent lines. I am planning on moving the water supply and vent pipes to accommodate the walk in steam shower. To get a sense of what I am up against I took my scope and put it under the sub floor. I discover that the inside vent tube is capped off below the subfloor. Does anyone know why that would be?

No reason to have that pipe it does nothing (based on your info) but it does make you wonder why , you say subfloor so if there is a crawlspace get under there and look
