Hi there! Apologies if my question is stupid. I have read the IPC but I’m still unsure. I’m redoing my bathroom and trying to figure out the right way to plumb it. I found this picture online and that’s exactly the configuration of my bathroom. My question is, does the tub not need an individual vent? Can it use the main stack as a wet vent? For info, distance from tub drain to main stack is 30”, and main stack to sink drain is 24” (small bathroom). Thanks in advance!

That is existing? The tub is vented fine. However if that meets current codes for new construction, I don't know.
