A few days ago after showering the pipes started making ting noise once all water was turned off. It's an intermittent sound about every 30 seconds that gets further apart and then stops after about 30 minutes. Any suggestions as to what it may be?

Sounds like the shower piping is slowly draining down from the shower arm. Thirty minutes is about right for that.
Anyway to fix that? Is this something I should be concerned about?

If it's the shower arm draining, nothing to worry about. But, it could also be the drain lines cooling off and contracting, or possibly the hot water line doing the same thing. If either of those goes through a tight hole, it will build up tension and then jump. That can make some sounds. Sounds more like a tick than a ting, but a metal hot water line might ring verses the plastic drain lines.
