Bathroom drain plan

Top down drawing of entire drain system. Due to space constraints can I use a 3" Elbow with a 1.5" side inlet for the Lav drain instead of the Wye and regular Elbow in the second picture? Or is there a better way? IPC is local code.

2018 IPC 706.4 say's yes but you need to check your local code.
