I am putting a shower in my basement which was already roughed in for a full path. I dug out the p trap and found my 2" drain pipe and a surprise. There is a 4" corrugated drain which I assume is connected to a french drain which goes around the basement perimeter into 2 sump wells. The pipe was full of dirt and mud and slightly wet.

My gut reaction is to just leave it or cap it and it will be encased in concrete. Any other ideas? I am including a picture below. Thanks in advance for any help!!

I would cut the corrugated pipe off even with the concrete, just to get it out of the way, so you can work in there and not worry about it.
