Hi guys, I'm working on my basement bathroom and need some advice on how to vent the shower, toilet and sink.
There is no vent line within reach but there is a 3" vertical Sani vent from the second floor above and I was wondering if I can tie into that?
If so what would that look like? I've attached a sketch of what I think it should be but feel free to mark it up !
Red = existing Sani line from 2nd floor
Blue = new Sani line from shower, toilet and sink
Green = new vent line in walls
Note:
- concrete slab is about 3 - 4" thick
- the existing clean out will have to be moved as the shower drain is too close to keep it there.
