Basement bath & shower question

My question is we have an unfinished basement and have the rough ins for a bathroom. There is plumbing for a tub/shower combo.

However I would like the shower and tub to be separate. Would it be possible to have a tub that is raised a little and piping underneath the "stage" (for lack of a better word run into the side of the shower wall and drain into the shower?

So if you refer to the picture, I would like the tub to drain into the shower from underneath the shower bench. Can I make this happen?
