Bad cast iron flange

Changing toilet in old house. Bad cast iron flange. Removed and am having problem finding right flange to replace. PVC sets to high for toilet to secure to floor. Using flat flange is not big enough to go around sewer pipe. All I can think of is to quickcrete around sewer pipe and flip flat flange over and secure. Will this solve my problem
