I have a half bath that backs up to a laundry room.
The vanity in the half bath is about 3 feet away from the toilet and vertical vent. The sink drain was attached to a horizontal line that runs about the same length at 18in down to 16in (so around a 2in down slope). The vanity is about 30in tall so the drain will sit probably about 22-25in (I’ll have to measure, but it’s significantly higher than indicated in the photos )
*Directly* behind it in the laundry room used to be a soaking sink. The output is currently capped and the sink was removed.
The choice of connection is… incredibly questionable.
Neither the vanity or the laundry sink can really be moved. In addition, there are some lovely water lines affecting the flexibility of the space as well.
Without cutting more of the studs what in the world can I do here to keep the laundry sink?
I started looking at running it like a double sink but just through the wall though I’m not sure how well these would work as I assume I’m limited to a single p and I’d rather not have laundry sink back up into my bathroom sink.
