Hello

I am currently going through the technical stuff that came with the boiler and noticed they insist on you fitting the 3 way motorised valve to the return on the boiler. When I phoned Atag to ask if this was correct, I was told it prevented negative pressure and water hammer, by someone who I personally thought was talking rubbish. I am hoping there might be someone on here who can tell me it's more to do with the boiler controlling any unwanted pressure. The system will have a pressure of about 1.7 bar when running. Any advice greatly appreciated.

If the directions say you need it, you need it. failuer to use it voids any and all warranties.
