So I am in a bit of of pickle and I have tried other forums and nothing yet. I am close to finishing up my kitchen cabinets and I needed new hinges. Problem is the old hinges are a 5/8 partial inset. So I have contacted retailers online and I get responses like "Looking on the internet I don't see much for hinge with 5/8" inset. Everything now has a 3/8" offset and 3/8" inset.
I don't know if you want to even consider changing out the doors. With that option you could keep the same 3/8" inch overlay and have the option of using European hinges."

I am at a lost, Any ideas ??

Haven't seen an exact replacement. I'd consider replacing them with a more modern hinge, though, that would also hold them closed. This place has what may be one of the larger selections of many, and, if you're lucky, you may have a retail store near you to minimize the ordering time and wait. www.rockler.com

Many of the more modern ones let you fine tune the position to get things perfect. A jig will go a long way towards helping you make repeatable, accurate installations.
