I have a quick question...
I bought the Apollo Pex Cinch tool (NOT the crimp tool) from Lowes.
I'm repiping my bathroom and laundry room, and I want to add a bunch of shut-off valves to each fixture. I can purchase the Apollo version at Lowes for $12/each, or I can buy a bunch at Supplyhouse.com for $4/each.
Perhaps more importantly, I need to buy a 1/2" copper sweat to 3/4" PEX adapter fitting. Neither Lowes nor Home Depot has this, but Supply House does.
Are there any compatibility issues across different brands of PEX? I know there is a difference between the expansion (Uponor Pro Pex) fittings and compression fittings, but what about Apollo vs. Sharkbite for example.
THANKS!
