I have a AO Smith Vertex water heater and noticed that the condensation coupling has 2 connections for condensation drainage but has only one hose for drainage. Does it require 2 hoses or is one just a vent? See attached picture, (orange highlighted area are the connections).

Thanks in advance.

you should put a drain on both of them just for good measure down to the floor
Thanks, is it ok to use a y connector and feed the two into one. The floor drain that existing tube goes into is really hard to reach since it is behind the heater and has a furnace adjacent to it.
