I have this old toro gear drive that I found in a bin of old sprinklers. I have never seen this head before and I figured out how to adjust it, but I can’t see any way to access the filter at the bottom of the head plus I have not found any info regarding this sprinkler online. It has a 1/2" inlet and is shorter than an 1804. Any info is appreciated!

Looked at the patent; it looks like there is a retaining clip holding the motor assembly in place so I think removing that clip will provide access to the filter screen. Thanks for the link!
