Read some of the toilet reviews and there were comments on how quiet the toilet was or was not.
Has there ever been a toilet store that had a few toilets installed in the display area that you could actually flush to see the noise level bowl wetting etc?
seems if you had 4 or 5 most popular it would be a start. After all its usually a plumbing store (unless u buy at the box stores !@$)

If you are worried about noise I guess you want to Fart in one at the store, to see if the Fart Muffler works ?

Humor aside, here's a couple of things to understand. Low flush toilets are not silent flushers. Because they empty so quickly, it is impossible for them to "sneak up" on the operation like some of the old water hogs. On the plus side, this occurs very quickly so the noise is not prolonged, and the refill requires such a small amount of water the filling sound is quite small and brief. I suppose "noisy" is a relative term, and I have to wonder what your concern is. The real noise makers are the pressure assists. They have an explosive sound by the very nature of the sudden pressure release. I would guess that few, if any, shops have a flush demo unit. I don't think there would be much difference in noise from one brand or model to another.
