Looks to be an old American Standard toilet.
The Fluidmaster tank rebuild kit works on those. The standard 2" flush valve from tank to bowl.

I think they are looking to replace the actual tank. Any ideas on that?

Buy a new toilet. They don't sell tanks to fit old bowls. What you have there uses five or more gallons. The new bowls use 1.6 gallons or less.


What I do with old toilets like that.
