Another bathroom group layout thread...

Hi all -

My plumber abandoned the job and hasn't returned calls or texts for a week so I'm in quite a pickle. I really need to get inspected and get these walls and floor closed up so any help would be huge.

I've attached pics of the floor plan and what I found at the house today. There's a ton of pipe and fittings left here - best I can tell he was planning to wye a 2" from the double lav into the shower , then wye them both into the 3" waste (the wye currently on the 3" waste has "shower/sink" written on it. There's another 3x3x2 wye with "vent" written on it and I believe the plan was to put that wye on after the shower and sink wye and 45 a vent to the knee wall, then horizontal to the 2x6 wall behind the shower and up though the roof. Then continue on with the 3" waste with an L to the waste stack.

Would this be kosher? Is there a better/faster/easier way to do this? Can I use what he did or should I just rip out and start over?

Well after even more extensive research on this forum this is what I've decided to go with unless someone here stops me. I'm starting on it in a couple hours so if I'm on the wrong track please stop me before I get too far!!! Thanks!

The 2" vent after the toilet is "useless" in that location.

Lol that figures! Of course it was the first one I installed... Before your first reply about it being useless I had already put it in. Can I leave it or should I pull it out? Or can I leave it and nix the one for the shower? They're less than 5' apart.

Maybe something like this:
