American Water Heater making noise and flame (video)

Hello

I have an American Water heater, UG61-40T40-3NV installed January 2014

it recently started making noise and the flame is rolling out of the water heater, see video.

Does this sound like an issue with the burner assembly part number 100093967?

You could have a small gas leak in the supply flex to the burner. Call American (now OA Smith) and get a replacement burner assembly under warranty.

The burner assembly was replaced this morning and fixed the problem.

Note: The flex supply line was not attached to the new burner so used the flex supply line from the old one.
