I have to redo a shower that was torn out of our house due to mold when we purchased the property. This shower drain pipe when attached to the cast iron piece sticking out of the ground comes out at an angle. From what I understand it needs to be straight up and down. What's the best way to adjust for the angle?

Normally I'm doing that from the p-trap in the ground.
If you're working from the shielded coupling I see, perhaps two street 22 fittings and position so that you have your vertical.

Same way I'd fix it with 2 fittings assuming it will still be where you want it as far as center of pan. if using a fiberglass check spec on your particular pan for where center of drain needs be!
