I have this super duper Bostik Tru Color grout, which worked great on my tile countertop - HOWEVER, when I used this Bostik TruColor grout on a mosaic backsplash I ran into a problem - cleaning it up. My mosaic backsplash is made up of a lot of small natural stone uneven surfaces and some copper plates. Even though I cleaned up after applying each 2 feet of this Bostik, apparently my cleanup just wasnt good enough. The chemistry of the Bostik and my mosaic tile was not very compatible. All the copper plates turned very dark, as did the natural stone pieces. Consequently, I have had to clean again, using acetone and synthetic steel wool. TOO MUCH CLEANUP LABOR ! Again, I did clean as I progressed.. ridiculous how much cleanup would have been necessary on the first pass.

So, can anyone offer me an alternative high quality epoxy grout brand ? I have one more wall to grout, and I do not want to go through this cleanup pain again ! The Bostik may have a great reputation, but it was a bitch to put into an irregular surface backsplash and clean.

As always, thank you for your wisdom to a newbie !
