I'm wanting to install a Amazon Alexa wifi thermostat an wanting to know the wiring an if it's compatible.I have a 5ton heat pump Amana package units with 2 stage cooling an on heat there is a 10k heat kit on it.
I currently have a 7 day Honeywell programmable thermostat. An it has a E heat setting too

I know it says not to use w if it's heat pump .Is this comparable an how would I wire it

Does it support the y2 feature though it's not highlighted ? I guess I'll hook white to aux /w2 ..will it operate to aux if stat is raised several degrees higher than the programmed temp?

Doesn't have 2 stage cooling. Won't work. Honeywell sub base no E terminal.
