I am looking at removing a standard 58" builder grade tub/shower insert and installing a 72" clawfoot tub in our 2nd bathroom. There will be some demolition, supply plumbing and tile work required also, but the larger clawfoot will fit in the alcove space.

I figure the offset of the new tub drain, and the existing tub will be about 12"-14" or so, there will be about a 6" space under the freestanding clawfoot, but the drain is the floor will be underneath the tub, not at the end or on the side. House is single story on a slab, but I really want to avoid tearing up the slab for a direct floor drain if possible.

Is there any quality fixture kits available that is designed for offset drains like this?

Other thoughts?
