Hello,
I'm in a bit of a desperate situation as my plumber is helping with the cleanup efforts in NC and isn't coming as planned this week. Other plumbers are booked weeks out and I need to get this slab poured. So here I go on my own....
I have almost no experience with plumbing. I am building an 80x80 slab on grade Hangar that will have a utility room and 3 piece bathroom. I plan on building a mezzanine with a potential 2nd floor 3 piece bathroom in-suite so I have stubbed a 3" stack in the 2x6 wall between the utility room and bathroom.
I'm in a county in TN with no building codes so don't need to pass inspection. I just need it to work but .
Here is my diagram.
The main 4" drain runs the width of the slab and has a cleanout on both ends. The uphill cleanout (not shown) doubling as an RV dump.
Do I have hydraulic jump issues with the 3" upstairs pipe coming down? It runs 35" before the double wye.
There are two vents, one off the shower and one off the laundry stack. The Laundry is wet vented from the Bath Lav and the Shower is wet vented from the condensate / RO waste connection. The toilet is vented via both and the 3" upstairs stack will offer some venting.
I realize laundry wet venting isn't permitted by code, but I don't see an issue with using the bathroom lav. I may run a vent up the washer arm and connect above the sink.
I have two floor drains that I was planning on taking to daylight to avoid dry trap smells. But has anyone used the Oatey seal drains? Do they work well? I might tie into septic if so.
Please share thoughts or problems with my plumbing diagram.
THANK YOU!
Mike

Please ignore the weird sinks in the middle of the wall, I had to get creative with this limited software for the condensate and washer standpipes.
