Aerator for old Crane Drexel Sink

I am looking for an aerator for an old Crane Drexel sink. The sink has a porcelain spigot as part of the bowl (see pics). The original aerator blew out. It looks to be constructed of a series of wavy copper strips. There's a pic of some of the pieces. Love the sink but without this piece, the water spray is crazy. Internet searches have turned up nothing. Any help appreciated!

Are you sure those are copper and not rusted steel? They look an awful lot like corrugated fasteners that someone might have shoved up in the faucet.

It is NOT an aerator, it is a "stream straightener". You are correct it is just a wavy piece of metal and you can make a new one out of a strip of thin brass material.
