Hi Everyone!

I am in the process of purchasing a home under construction in North Carolina. The plans show an optional utility sink in the garage, but we came into the project to late to add the option. I am looking into the feasibility of adding the sink myself when I move in.

The garage sink backs up to a 2-piece bathroom on the main floor. The toilet is vented through the sink. To attach the drain for the utility sink, could I replace the existing sanitary tee with a double sanitary tee, or do I need to vent the utility sink separately? Attached is a picture of the existing rough in and the plans showing the locations I am discussing.

Thanks for your help!
