Adding to 4 inch waste for water softener?

Hello, I currently have my iron water filter & water softener draining into a sewage sump in my mechanical room. As there is no backup on the waste pump (Single point of failure), I'm concerned that a pump failure would mean waste water into the basement. I'm trying to find a better way to deal with the iron & water softener so I don't have to worry about a pump failure in the middle of the night.
For background, I'm on septic, the water & iron go off every few nights in the middle of the night and the ejector waste pump, pumps it up to the main 4 inch PVC drain out to my septic. Those 2 machines account for 95% of the usage of the waste sump.
Not sure if this would work, but I have a clean-out on the main 4" drain. Could I connect a threaded 4" male, with a 2" Y so I could have an extension for my water/iron softeners to direct waste into it, thus avoiding the waste sump & ejection? It would be all gravity at that point. Any reason why this would not work or cause issues? I would obviously use a p-trap. Not sure if I would need a vent if the arm is roughly 5 feet? I could use a cheater if I can't find a vent easily.

Any advice/recommendations?
I've attached a few pics of my current setup and what I'm thinking. Not sure if I can extend from the female thread for the clean-out.
