Hi! We've bought a new house and have spent the last 3 months fixing up bits, have been moved in for about a month, and now it's down to small quality of life changes really. One of these involves our shower - it's a walk-in shower in the corner of the room with one piece of glass parallel to the wall and next to the shower head, and another piece of glass perpendicular to the wall at the end of the shower tray.

We want to add a sliding glass door to this - we've looked at a few local hardware stores but haven't been able to find quite what we're looking for. Would it be easier to replace the entire shower tray & glass rather than try add a sliding door?

I'm not ready to take on any big projects right now so have plenty of time for research - any advice to take on first though? Haven't done something like this before so not quite sure where to start.

Thanks!

How about posting a picture of what you have?

Most people here are more familiar with what's available (and meets code) in the USA or Canada...not necessarily the UK.
