Hello all,
I am a recent condo owner in New West, BC, Canada. The apartment has a 2 bed 1 bath unit, I am trying to add a 1/2 bath which is adjacent to the existing bathroom. It just want a toilet and sink for tenants to use in the main bedroom for the time being.

However in later years I know I will want to take the new 1/2 bathroom and combine it with the existing bathroom making a nice open bathroom in the master bedroom unit.
My concern is:
A) how difficult will it be to run water lines and a drain pipe to the other side of the wall in the unit? It appears the current bathtub is above ground so with above ground plumbing, I think the pipes could just be routed directly under neath the raised bathtub if I'm not mistaken. would this cause any issues with water drainage for the unit?

B) My second question is, instead of adding a 1/2 bath that is adjacent to existing bathroom, would it be difficult to run water lines for a 1/2 bath adjacent to the kitchen instead?
I will share a copy of the unit layout, I can't seem to find them instead. But if anyone has had experience doing this please share.
Thanks again!
